With the end of the school year next week, there are just a few pieces of information we need to cover.
- All school instruments need to be either checked-in for the summer or checked-out before your child goes home for summer break. For students not participating in graduation, this should be done by the last day of school. For students participating in graduation, this should be done by May 19th.
- As of today, only one high school musician has not turned in his/her uniform. This also needs to be done by the last day of school.
- Music camp registrations are due to me by Monday, May 14th, if you want a music camp scholarship. Proof of registration and that the deposit has been paid is all that is required.
- All sheet music needs to be turned in by the last day of school (for those not participating in graduation) or May 19th (for those participating in graduation).
- There will be a graduation practice on Friday, May 18, 2012, beginning at 12:00pm. This rehearsal is required for all student participating in the graduation ceremony on Saturday, May 19th. Donuts and juice will be provided.
- Saturday, May 19th, is the Pilot Grove High School Graduation. Pizza will be served for band students at 1:00pm in the band room. Otherwise, students in the band should be ready to go by 1:30pm. Graduation begins at 2:00pm. Attire for this event is dress clothes.
Thank you for all your hard work and dedication this year. It has been my pleasure to serve as your music teacher for these last three years, and I wish all of you nothing but the best in the future.
Sincerely,
Brandon K. McDannald
